Salty Grapes

Shape the clay. Taste the wine.

Part ceramics workshop, part wine tasting. Spend an evening learning to hand-build with clay while tasting beautiful wines and hearing the stories behind them — then take home a handmade salad bowl and servers to enjoy for years to come.

In this guided workshop, you'll learn the essential skills of hand-building with clay:

  • ~ Basics of clay making and preparation
  • ~ Shaping and forming a generous salad bowl
  • ~ Making a matching pair of salad servers
  • ~ Adding texture and decorative details
  • ~ Finishing techniques for a professional look

You'll make: 1 salad bowl + a pair of salad servers

No prior experience is required — just bring your creativity and enjoy a relaxed, social evening of making.

Workshop includes

  • ~ 2-hour guided workshop
  • ~ 2 glasses of wine
  • ~ All materials and tools provided
  • ~ 1 handmade salad bowl and a pair of salad servers

Your completed pieces will be professionally kiln-fired with a white glazed finish after the workshop and ready for collection approximately 4 weeks later.

Please arrive 10 minutes early to make yourself comfortable and settle in before we begin.
